Maharashtra Cricket Association’s Ranji – Team A visited the Karnataka State Cricket Association to participate in the DR(Capt) K Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament. The Maharashtra Team defeated the KSCA Secretary XI team in the semifinals, where MCA scored 421/10 in the first innings, Sachin Dhas – 102 runs, and Nikhil Naik – 107 runs. The KSCA Team was bowled out for 161/10, Ramakrishna Ghosh took 5 wickets for just 19 runs and Hitesh Walunj took 4 wickets for 51 runs. In the second innings, MCA scored another 598/7 declaring with a huge total on board. Murtaza Trunkwala scored 166 runs, Siddhesh Veer – 146 runs, and Arshin Kulkarni – 150 runs. KSCA couldn’t chase this total and ended the game with 101/2, MCA won on first innings lead.
